  • This pattern is consistent with suppression of both Th1 and Th2 responses after phototherapy in atopic dermatitis, likely due to induction of T-cell apoptosis.

“This pattern is consistent with the suppression of both T helper 1 and T helper 2 responses after phototherapy in atopic dermatitis, likely due to the induction of T-cell apoptosis (Franken et al, 2015;Musters et al, 2021;Ozawa et al, 1999).”

The Abstract (page unavailable) identifies this as a protocol to assess phototherapy for atopic eczema. Our copy does not address suppression of Th1 or Th2 responses or T-cell apoptosis; searches for those terms and the proposed mechanism found no relevant passage. (LLM, conf=0.76)

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
