Contribution of Supercritical CO2 to the Preparation of Aliphatic Polyesters and Materials Thereof
Abstract
This paper is a short review of the most recent achievments of CERM in the synthesis of poly (ϵ‐caprolactone) (PCL) and polylactides (PLA) in supercritical carbon dioxide (sc CO 2). In addition to the macromolecular engineering of these aliphatic polyesters, nanocomposites and PCL microspheres have been prepared with the assistance of this supercritical fluid.

ROP of εCL in scCO2 has been carried out in the presence of various poly(tetrahydroperfuorodecylacrylate-b-capro-lactone) diblock copolymers.
“For instance, ROP of εCL in scCO 2 has been carried out in the presence of various poly(tetrahydroperfuorodecylacrylate-b-capro-lactone) diblock copolymers [93].”

Micro-spheres have been prepared with [PCL(20 K)-b-PAC8(40 K)] surfactant under conditions: 10 vol.% CL, Mn,th=20 k; 5 wt.% surfactant, 40 °C, 300 bar, 400 rpm, 15 h.
“Micro-spheres have accordingly been prepared with [PCL(20 K)-b-PAC8(40 K)] surfactant, (conditions: 10 vol.%CL, Mn,th=20 k ; 5 wt.% surfactant, 40 °C, 300 bar, 400 rpm, 15 h) as illustrated in Fig. 3a.”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
