DNA fingerprinting and botanical study of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. (neem) family Meliaceae
Open accessAbstract
Macromorphological and micromorphological characters of leaves, fruits, seeds, stem and bark of Azadirachta indica A. Juss. are described and illustrated with the aim to aid in their identification. In addition, DNA fingerprint of the plant was studied in order to aid in differentiation between plant under study A. indica (neem) and Melia azadirachta which is sometimes misidentified with neem.

Antimicrobial plant principles are the self-protective system of plants against diverse pathogens and can be either constitutive cell components or formed de novo during pathogenesis.
“These antimicrobial principles are in fact the selfprotective system of the plants against diverse pathogens and they can either constitutive components of cells or be de novo formed during the pathogenesis (VanEtten et al., 1994;El-Hawary et al., 2013).”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
