Labrenzbactin from a coral-associated bacterium Labrenzia sp
Abstract
A new catecholate-containing siderophore, labrenzbactin (1), was isolated from the fermentation broth of a coral-associated bacterium Labrenzia sp. The structure and absolute configuration of 1 was determined by spectroscopic methods and Marfey's analysis. Overall, 1 showed antimicrobial activity against Ralstonia solanacearum SUPP1541 and Micrococcus luteus ATCC9341 with MIC values of 25 and 50 µg ml-1, respectively, and cytotoxicity against P388 murine leukemia cells with an IC 50 of 13 µM.

Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter and Labrenzia are genera found in marine environments.
“Bacterial communities specifically associated with the egg samples (Fig. 5B) were dominated by Pseudomonas, Acinetobacter and Labrenzia, 3 genera found in marine environments (Fournier & Richet, 2006; Palleroni, 2015; Raj Sharma et al., 2019) and which had already been studied during the development of L. vannamei and P. monodon (Rungrassamee et al., 2013; Wang et al., 2020a; Wang et al., 2020b).”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
