Abstract

Aurivillius phase Bi 5 Ti 3 FeO 15 nanoparticles were synthesized by the solid-state method and investigated for its dielectric as well as gas sensing properties. Relative permittivity ( ε ′) and dielectric loss tangent (tan δ ) of Bi 5 Ti 3 FeO 15 nanoparticles increased with temperature (in the range of 300–400 K) whereas reduced with the increase in frequency from 120 Hz to 1 MHz. Oxygen gas sensing properties were studied in the range of 100–500 ppm. The response of Bi 5 Ti 3 FeO 15 sensor increases linearly with an increase in oxygen concentration. The sensor was found to be selective towards oxygen when tested in the presence of ethanol, methanol, 1-butanol, acetone and LPG. High linearity, repeatability and selectivity of Bi 5 Ti 3 FeO 15 sensor suggest it as a good candidate for developing practical oxygen gas sensors.

We couldn’t retrieve this paper’s full text, so its claims and self-check weren’t run. The registry and citation checks still apply.

Claims other papers make about this one

Each is checked against this paper’s own text: does it say what the citing paper says it does?

  • Perovskite materials can adsorb and react with specific gas molecules, leading to changes in electrode potential when the gas molecules interact with the perovskite electrode.

“For example, perovskite materials can adsorb and react with specific gas molecules, leading to changes in the electrode potential when the gas molecules interact with the perovskite electrode (Figure 3D) [74].”

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
