The Impact of Electric Vehicles on The Grid
Open accessAbstract
The unlimited nature of consumption and needs contrasts with the scarcity of usable resources, necessitating the optimal use of available resources. Alongside the careful protection of the environment and human health, it is crucial to meet needs with maximum efficiency. With the aid of measuring instruments and sensors added to traditional grids, grids are becoming smart, allowing for rapid resolution of system failures, security issues, losses, and requirements through detection, monitoring, and control. The quick and minimal-error communication between grid elements is of great importance. This paper aims to raise awareness about the economic benefits for the grid and users through a V2G (Vehicle-to-Grid) technology simulation, focusing on the advantages and disadvantages of using V2G technology, ensuring that the energy needs between the producer and consumer are met promptly and adequately without any system disruption within a smart grid infrastructure aided by 5G communication technology.

The immediate effect of additional EV load is thermal overloading, which causes degradation of transformer insulation, reduces the lifetime of components, and increases the possibility of unplanned outages.

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
