Abstract

In summary, we have identified for the first time that PLCG2 could be considered a precise biomarker and promising therapeutic target for predicting CRC prognosis, optimizing individualized treatment, reversing CRC immune escape, and overcoming resistance to ICB therapy.

  • Prior studies have shown contradictory findings with respect to the role of PLCG2 in proliferation and apoptosis.

“Prior studies have shown contradictory findings with respect to the role of PLCG2 in proliferation and apoptosis.”

From Alzheimer's disease–associated PLCG2 variants alter microglial state and function in human induced pluripotent stem cell–derived microglia‐like cells (2025) · cites this paper as [50]

The Discussion (page unavailable) summarizes prior work on PLCG2 in several cancers but does not describe contradictory findings on proliferation or apoptosis. The Results report this paper’s own findings that PLCG2 promotes proliferation and inhibits apoptosis in colorectal cancer cells. Searches for conflicting or opposing prior findings found no passage addressing the claimed contradiction. (LLM, conf=0.72)

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
