Abstract

In this paper, we report the synthesis of MnTiO 3 nanoparticles employing a simple, eco‐friendly and low‐cost hydrothermal method. The properties of MnTiO 3 nanoparticles were analysed by XRD, FTIR, FE‐SEM, TEM and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). Structural properties revealed that the MnTiO 3 have rhombohedral phase. Morphological studies revealed that the synthesised sample has granular‐like structure. FTIR technique confirmed the formation of MnTiO 3 nanoparticles. TGA shows that the as synthesised sample is thermally more stable. The electrochemical detection of acetaminophen (AMP) by using nano‐perovskite‐type manganese titanate (MnTiO 3)‐modified glassy carbon electrode is reported. The conductive behaviour of MnTiO 3‐modified glassy carbon electrode (MnTiO 3/GCE) was confirmed by cyclic voltammetry (CV). Differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) was employed for the detection of AMP. DPV technique showed a comparatively lower detection potential with a higher peak response towards AMP sensing with a linear range of 1.3 to 13.8 μM. The limit of detection and sensitivity were found 1.26 μM and 36.22 μA μM−1 m−2, respectively. Moreover, the modified electrode also demonstrated better repeatability, reproducibility and higher stability, hence used for the analysis of AMP in pharmaceutical and human serum samples with good recoveries. Electrochemical properties showed that the MnTiO 3 perovskite has specific capacitance 357.2 F g−1 revealing its charge storing ability.

Claims other papers make about this one

Each is checked against this paper’s own text: does it say what the citing paper says it does?

  • When an analyte contacts the working electrode, an electrochemical reaction occurs, resulting in changes in the electrical properties of the perovskite material such as resistance, capacitance, and potential.

“When the analyte comes into contact with the working electrode, an electrochemical reaction occurs, resulting in changes in the electrical properties of the perovskite material (e.g., resistance, capacitance, potential) [67].”

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
