These metrics are regularly updated to reflect usage leading up to the last few days.Citations are the number of other articles citing this article, calculated by Crossref and updated daily. Find more information about Crossref citation counts. The Altmetric Attention Score is a quantitative measure of the attention that a research article has received online. Clicking on the donut icon will load a page at altmetric.com with additional details about the score and the social media presence for the given article. The contribution of biogenic selenium emissions to its global atmospheric budget is around 3 to 4 orders of magnitude smaller than for sulfur emissions, but selenium is up to 3 orders of magnitude more enriched in the volatile phase than sulfur.
“Even though the contribution of biogenic Se emissions to its global atmospheric budget is around 3 to 4 orders of magnitude smaller than for S emissions (approximately 6.5 × 109 g Se year−1 [40] versus approximately 35 × 1012 g S year−1 [93], a comparison of these fluxes with the average concentrations in seawater (8.9 × 10−1 g L−1 S and 1.6 × 10−7 L−1 Se) [47] illustrates that Se is up to 3 order”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
