Abstract

Natural deep eutectic solvents (NADES) are recently developed green solvents that are attractive for their great solubilising power and intrinsic lack of toxicity.

  • Dissolution of salsalate in NADES allowed in vitro evaluation of its bioactivity.

“Additionally, formulation of resveratrol with NADES increased its matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) inhibition activity (Shamseddin et al. 2017), while dissolution of salsalate in NADES allowed in vitro evaluation of its bioactivity (Rozema et al. 2015).”

  • DESs can be a promising vehicle for poorly soluble compounds for preclinical studies, broadening the concentration range tested in dose-response curves.

“Thus, DESs can be a promising vehicle for poorly soluble compounds for preclinical studies, increasing the range of tested concentrations in doseeresponse curves.”
  • A 1,2-propanediol-choline chloride-water combination increased salsalate solubility in T37i cell culture medium, allowing a full dose-response curve.

“Rozema et al. [82] found that a combination of 1,2-propanediolecholine chlorideewater increased the solubility of salsalate in cell culture medium (T37i) allowing the assay of a full doseeresponse curve.”

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
