Abstract

Enteromorpha prolifera was converted into hierarchical carbons through the carbonization and activation with surface area and pore volume up to 3345 m 2 g −1 and 1.94 cm 3 g −1 , showing excellent performance for H 2 storage and supercapacitors.

  • Previous research focused on utilizing macroalgae to synthesize carbon materials for catalysts, supercapacitors, and lithium-sulfur batteries.

“Previous research studies focused on the utilization of macroalgae to synthesize carbon materials applied in fields such as catalysts, supercapacitors, and lithium-sulfur batteries [28-34].”

From Preparation of Microporous Carbon from <i>Sargassum horneri</i> by Hydrothermal Carbonization and KOH Activation for CO2 Capture (2018) · cites this paper as [31]

The Preparation of EP-based hierarchical carbons section describes making carbon from macroalgae, and the results describe its use as a supercapacitor electrode material. Our copy does not establish the claimed prior uses of macroalgae-derived carbons in catalysts or lithium-sulfur batteries (pages not provided). (LLM, conf=0.85)

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
