Nyquist folding analog-to-information receiver: Autonomous information recovery using quadrature mirror filtering
Abstract
A broadband Nyquist-folding analog-to-information receiver, allows multiple Nyquist zones to be directly undersampled and subsequently folded into a continuous time analog interpolation filter. This paper presents a new algorithm that autonomously extracts the intercepted pulse parameters on the time-frequency plane using a quadrature mirror filter bank at the output of the interpolation filter. Parameters include a running calculation of the exact bandwidth, frequency, pulse duration and slope. By the examination of the signal's slope we show that a direct computation of the actual Nyquist zone is possible. Monte Carlo simulation runs are presented to demonstrate the robustness of the algorithm for -20 ¿ SNR ¿ 10 dB.

Each is checked against this paper’s own text: does it say what the citing paper says it does?
The method based on RANSAC and FrFT outperformed the spectrum peak search method, the autocorrelation method, and the QMFB method.
“It is clear from the figures that the method based on RANSAC and FrFT outperformed the other methods”
The QMFB method does not make full use of all the sampling data.
“Since it does not make full use of all the sampling data, its performance is as expected.”
The QMFB method's PCD is only about 75% for pulse width 1000 ns even if SNR reaches 10 dB.
“for pulse width 1000 ns, the PCD is only about 75%, even if SNR reaches 10 dB.”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
