It is unclear why the solubility of Ca is notably higher in the CAN ash, but it may be responsible for the reduced PO4 levels in the CAN leachate as P has a tendency to precipitate in the presence of Ca.
“It is unclear why the solubility of Ca is notably higher in the CAN ash in comparison with the other ash types (Jung et al. 2009;Brito et al. 2017), but it may be responsible for the reduced PO 4 3À levels (1.2 mg kg À1 ) in the CAN leachate as P has a tendency to precipitate in the presence of Ca (Diaz et al. 1994).”

Less alkaline conditions favour the solubility of metals and P compared with other samples where metals tend to precipitate as hydroxides for pH values above 8-9 and phosphate as hydroxyapatite for pH values >8.5.
“These less alkaline conditions favour the solubility of metals and P compared with the other samples where the metals tend to precipitate as hydroxides for pH values above 8-9 and the phosphate as hydroxyapatite for pH values .8.5 (for example see: Diaz et al. 1994;Stumm and Morgan 1995).”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
