Coupled slot line field components

Simons, R.N., Arora, R.K.·1982·IEEE Transactions on Microwave Theory and Techniques

Abstract

The paper presents expressions for the odd- and even-mode electric field components and the magnetic field components in the air and dielectric regions of the coupled slot line structure. These expressions are numerically computed and the fields in the cross section and the longitudinal sections are illustrated.

This paper’s full text isn’t openly available, so its claims and self-check weren’t run. The registry and citation checks still apply.

Claims other papers make about this one

Each is checked against this paper’s own text: does it say what the citing paper says it does?

  • The electric field component of the even and odd modes has been calculated in [34].

“The electric field component of these two modes has been calculated in [34].”

From Single Microwave Photon Detection with a Trapped Electron (2016) · cites this paper as [34]

  • The electrodes of the geonium chip define the central conducting strip of a CPW transmission line, where MW photons can exist in either the odd or the even mode.

“The electrodes of the geonium chip define the central conducting strip of a CPW transmission line, 8 where MW photons can exist in either one of the two possible propagation modes, 29 the odd or the even mode, of a CPW line.”

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
