Application of AIGC in Virtual Education
Open accessAbstract
This paper explores the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence-Generated Content (AIGC) in virtual education, focusing on one application: dynamic scene generation. We first define the scope of AIGC in these domains: dynamic generation enables real-time creation of immersive, interactive learning environments (e.g., historical recreations, scientific phenomena). A foundational AIGC-integrated system is designed and deployed within an existing virtual education platform to enable these functionalities. Through controlled experiments comparing AIGC-enhanced modules against traditional virtual education tools, we observed significant improvements in learner engagement, knowledge retention, and complex problem-solving abilities. Quantitative data and qualitative feedback confirm AIGC's efficacy in fostering experiential learning and systemic thinking. The study concludes that AIGC holds substantial promise for revolutionizing virtual education, offering adaptive, high-fidelity, and pedagogically rich experiences that transcend conventional approaches.

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
