Corrigendum: Macrophage polarization: Different gene signatures in M1 (LPS+) vs. classically and M2 (LPS–) vs. alternatively activated macrophages
Open accessAbstract
Error in Figure 3In the original article, there was a mistake in Figure 3 as published. Three gene names were misspelled in the previous version: Figure 3A, M1(=LPS+) panel, the correct gene name for EIFE3 is EIF4E3; Figure 3B, Alternatively activated (IL-4) panel the correct gene name for WRD4 is WDR4 and the correct gene name for POLRR3K is POLR3K. The corrected Figure 3 appears below. The authors apologize for this error and state that this does not change the scientific conclusions of the article in any way. The original article has been updated.

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
