Turkish Adaptation of the Four Facet Mindful Eating Scale: A Validity and Reliability Study
Open accessAbstract

Previous studies found that eating with non-reactance and eating with nonjudgment were negatively associated with BMI and eating disorder risk.
“This is in accordance with previous studies in which eating with non-reactance [4, 35] and eating with nonjudgment [4] were negatively associated with BMI and eating disorder risk [35].”
From Four Facet Mindful Eating and Eating Disorder Risk: Mediation By Depression and Body Mass Index. (2026) · cites this paper as [35]
In the section on associations with YTT-26 and BMI (Table 6, p. 196), both non-reactance and nonjudgment were significantly negatively correlated with YTT-26 scores, a measure of eating-disorder risk. Nonjudgment was also significantly negatively correlated with BMI, but the negative correlation between non-reactance and BMI was not statistically significant (r = −0.062, p = 0.285). The claim omits that qualification. (LLM, conf=0.86)
Experimental — accuracy not yet measuredA previous study reported positive associations between eating with external and internal awareness and eating disorder risk.

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
