Advanced Normalization Tools: V1.0
Open accessAbstract
We provide examples and highlights of Advanced Normalization Tools (ANTS) that address practical problems in real data. A variety of image and point similarity metrics and elastic, diffeomorphic, affine and other variations of transformation models are available.

Various traditional registration methods and toolboxes have been devised, including Elastix and ANTs.
“Various traditional registration methods and toolboxes have been devised over the last few decades, e.g., Elastix (13) and ANTs (14).”

The performance of sophisticated registration tools such as FSL and ANTs is limited by nontrivial factors.
“While there are many sophisticated tools to compute these registrations such as FSL (Jenkinson et al., 2012) and ANTs (Avants et al., 2009), the performance is limited by nontrivial factors.”

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
