Abstract

Preliminary Remark This practice guideline on gestational diabetes is a treatment oriented short version of the evidence based guideline that can be viewed in the internet. It replaces the DDG and DGGG recommendations of 2001 for diagnostic and therapy of gestational diabetes. A complete rework had become necessary in view of epidemiologically based diagnostic criteria, which had been derived from the Hyperglycaemia and Adverse Pregnancy Outcome study (HAPO) by international consensus, and in view of randomised therapy and observation studies published after 2001. With this, Germany has adopted the international standard. Screening and diagnosing gestational diabetes by means of blood glucose are part of the legally binding maternity guidelines in Germany since March 3, 2012. 1 Publisher DDG: M. Kellerer, S. About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
