Abstract

The problem of ordering of two-qubit states imposed by the relative entropy of entanglement ( E ) in comparison with the concurrence ( C ) and negativity ( N ) is studied. Analytical examples of states consistently and inconsistently ordered by the entanglement measures are given. In particular, the states for which any of the three measures imposes order opposite to that given by the other two measures are described. Moreover, examples are given of pairs of the states for which (i) and but is different from , (ii) and but differs from , (iii) , and ; and (iv) states having the same E , C and N but still violating the Bell–Clauser–Horne–Shimony–Holt inequality to different degrees.

Claims other papers make about this one

Each is checked against this paper’s own text: does it say what the citing paper says it does?

  • For an arbitrary two-qubit pure state, the Bell nonlocality measure B is equal to the negativity and concurrence, and also to the steering measure S and the fully entangled fraction.

“On the other hand, B is equal to the negativity and concurrence37,66, but also to the steering measure S and the FEF:24for an arbitrary two-qubit pure state , where a, b, c, d are the normalized complex amplitudes.”

Self-check

Percentages, sums and reported differences re-computed from the paper’s own numbers.

About these checks

Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.

Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.

Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
