The most likely enzyme to generate Ins(1,4,5,6)P4 is PTEN, a well-known tumour suppressor gene that is active in the nucleus and plays a role in chromosome stability.
“The most likely enzyme is the well-known tumour suppressor gene PTEN42,43, which is known to be active in the nucleus and to play a role in chromosome stability (reviewed in44).”
From Structure of Hdac3 Bound to Co-Repressor and Inositol Tetraphosphate (2012) · cites this paper as [44]
The citation to this review is attached to the statement that PTEN is active in the nucleus and plays a role in chromosome stability. Our copy instead says that very little is known about PTEN’s subcellular localization (Abstract, page unavailable); searches for nuclear activity and chromosome stability found no passage addressing either point. The review does identify PTEN as a tumor suppressor, but that is not the part attributed to this citation. (LLM, conf=0.74)

About these checks
Registry, retraction, Cites and statistics results are computed, not judged, with one exception: a printed reference that no index lists is read once by a model before it counts as a citation error. Claims are extracted by a model and kept only when their quote appears verbatim in the text; each cited source is then checked, with a model’s help, for whether it says what the claim relies on. Those verdicts can be wrong — read the claim’s quote and the cited source before relying on one.
Statistics and arithmetic are recomputed, not judged.
Confidence bands are shown only for fields calibrated on our annotated test set. None is calibrated yet, so no band is shown.
